Year 2 Erosion
In year 2 our geographers have been learning what erosion is this week. The children were able to see the effects of erosion by creating a pile of land from soil, before pouring water over the soil like rainfall and watching the effects of water erosion as some of the land was displaced and taken into the sea.
Our geographers went on to discuss the effects of this on our environment and what could be done in an attempt to prevent the impact of coastal erosion.
