Who’s Hungry trip to the allotments
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Studley Knapp allotments in Walnut Tree. They were wowed by the amount of vegetables still growing ready to be picked ahead of the winter. From brussel sprouts, to carrots, rhubarb, beetroot, and so many apples everyone was certainly hungry as we left the allotment with knowledge of how different fruits and vegetables were planted and soil prepared for growth for the spring. What a great inspiring trip to our new project.
