We are Designers!
In DT this half term, year two have been designing their own boat after being inspired by the topic the Titanic. The children had to plan their ideas first on paper, with which materials and methods they would be using. Next, the children began constructing their boats out of straws and tape to understand the basic structure. This week, the children have started to measure and cut using saws to construct their very own Titanic ships, ready for the showcase next week!
