There’s a buzz around the school

On Tuesday 20th June the whole school was treated to a very exciting visit from local beekeeper Ray!

Ray came into school, equipped to wow and educate our little scientists on the fascinating world of bees! From the many different types of bees to how they make their nests and honey, the children were left ‘buzzing’ with awe and wonder at just how important bees are for our planet.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our children to enrich their learning and broaden their minds as they learnt more about the world around us.

If you have connections to any visitors who you think could be willing to give up a little time to visit our school as part of our wider curriculum, please get in touch! The children benefit so much from these enrichment opportunities.
