Seeds, bulbs and what food we can get from our plants!
In science year 2 have been looking and learning about seeds and bulbs. The children have compared different types of seeds and learned about the different parts of a seed. They now know that a seed has an embryo that grows to become the new plant. We are learning about germination and are watching our bean seeds germinate on our windows. The children are watching them closely every day to see the changes.
