Roald Dahl Day- 13th September
Our children had the best time as they celebrated Roald Dahl day on the 13th September! Children and staff alike joined in celebrating this popular children’s author’s birthday by coming to school as their favourite story character from one of the many fabulous Roald Dahl stories.
We enjoyed a story swap in the school, where each classroom door was decorated for different Roald Dahl stories and children ventured to different teachers to enjoy being transported to a magical world from one of the Roald Dahl stories. From Matilda, to BFG there was a lovely range of stories shared across the school!
Our Golden Ticket competition was a great success! Children were able to enter a competition to win one of many prizes detailed on a single winning Golden Ticket.
A massive well done to Noah from Zebras whose name was pulled from the BFG’s dream jar!
Noah has chosen the grand prize of an adult and child ticket entry to the Roald Dahl Museum!
