Year 2 have been developing their skills in DT by researching the best types of mechanisms to enable their model fire engines to move. This week children made a wheel mechanism, exploring how to attach the axle to the chassis of the vehicle, before adding the washers and wheels. They have thoroughly enjoyed adding the finishing touches!
