Foundation’s exciting start!
Our new foundation children have settled in quickly to their new setting and classes. The past two weeks we have been getting to know the children and watching them form some lovely friendships.
The majority of the children have spent most of their time exploring in our outside area. We have had lots of obstacle courses, boats and cars made in our construction area. The teachers have also been enjoying cakes, soups and teas that have been created in the sandpit!
Our activities have been focusing on the topic ‘all about me’. Children have been talking about their interests and families during circle time discussions. They have been practicing to write their name, on paper, in glitter and sand! They have enjoyed making their own families out of stones and sticks, they have been very interesting!
We have loved getting to know our new cohort and look forward to a fantastic year with them!
