BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK – STEM WEEK 2022            

 Promoted by the British Science Association, the annual British Science Week aims to celebrate all sciences and their importance in our everyday lives. It provides an opportunity for people of all ages across the UK to take part in science, engineering and technology events and activities.  British Science week will take play between 14th – 18 March 2022.  

This is an exciting event in our Heronshaw calendar and the children really look forward to a week filled of engaging, stimulating science. 

This year we haveSublime Science coming into school to deliver an exciting day of science.  They will start the day with an assembly to wow the children with science displays and then deliver a series of workshops for each class throughout the day.   

Throughout the week each afternoon the children will be engaging in science activities.  These will be  hands on activities designed to tap into the children’s curiosity and cause them to ask and perform tests to answer questions. 

To enable these activities to take place we are asking for a donation of £3.50 per child. 

Please send your money into school in a named envelope and hand to your class teacher on the door.
