Our children have the power to change lives! We at Heronshaw would like to play our part in helping people who live incredibly tough lives. In supporting Comic Relief this year, we shall be taking part in the Red Nose Day celebrations on Friday 18th March 2022 where the theme is Funny is Power. On this day, we invite children to come dressed as their favourite superhero and/ or wear red!  

Superhero attire could be in the form of a movie hero, book, perhaps it’s a parent or local hero – whoever inspires them! This will be a day jam packed with activities for the children. The wonderful student council are currently gathering lots of ideas of fun activities for the children to take part in! A suggested donation of £1 is requested on the day to go directly to the wonderful charity.  

We will also be selling red noses ahead of the event day. These can be bought from the school office from Monday 7th March -Thursday 17th March for £1.50 each. There are 8 different designed noses you could get your hands on! See next page for all the wonderful designs!  

We are very much looking forward to a day full of comedy and activities! Let’s do our part to change lives, do good and spread laughter whilst we do it!
