Christmas Fayre

The Christmas Fayre on Saturday 10th December was a huge success. Heronshaw do not normally host a weekend fayre, but it certainly brought in community with a queue stretching out of the school.

The organisers were astounded and thrilled with the turnout and there was a sense of festive cheer in the air as families treated themselves to crafts, delicious cakes, cookies and popcorn too. There was a selection of independent stall holders to add to our fayre.

The tombola, unicorn auction and teddy bear games were very popular, but by far the school raffle was the most popular. There were lots of happy winners. There are prizes assigned to winning tickets that will be handed out during the last week of school.

A huge thank you for the community supoort. Heronshaw School raised a staggering £1300. This is more than 3 times our usual. The fundraising will go straight back to the children as part of the ongoing investment in the playground and outdoor learning. Watch this space!
