As part of celebrating UNESCO’s World Poetry Day at Heronshaw School, we would like to foster the love of writing and invite children to enter a poetry competition! 

Who can write a poem about the world around us? This could be a rhyming poem, a nonsense poem or even a Haiku – it’s up to the author! 

 The top 3 poems in the school will be celebrated in the celebration assembly that week, Friday 24th March.
