Children are invited to come to school dressed in jungle colours, animal prints or as explorers. The day will be filled with a variety of rainforest activities to raise awareness of the importance of conserving our rainforests. We will also be supporting the Eden project by adopting a gecko! Each class will be given a stencil of a gecko to fill with any spare change you may want to contribute towards the adoption. Each adoption is a £20 sponsorship where the children will receive a certificate and a postcard explaining why looking after our rainforests is so important. Children are welcome to bring into school any rainforest furry friend (non-living!) they have at home to join them for the day.
