Welcome to Heronshaw School! We are very excited that you have chosen us to start your child’s learning journey.

This week has been the children’s first week in school and they have settled in so well. We completely understand that this is a nervous time for parents and there were some anxious faces at the door on Wednesday morning but the children have amazed us with how well they have adapted to their new surroundings. We have seen lots of happy, smiling faces and we are feeling excited about a busy year ahead! The children will begin their first full week of school on Monday 12th September and will be in school all day, every day from then on. The school doors open at 8.40am and pick up is at 3.10pm.

We would now like to invite you to a Foundation information evening on Thursday 22nd September 2022 at 5:30pm. During this meeting you will be able to meet the team and we will share some of the key knowledge and skills your child will be learning throughout the year and how you can support your child with this at home. At Heronshaw school we value your partnership as together we believe we can make an even greater impact on your child’s learning.
