The Year 1 shared area has had a revamp!
The Year 1 team have been working hard to make an environment to support the children with their creative learning.
We still value the importance of learning creatively and we are developing our enhanced learning areas which gives the children the opportunity to develop key skills independently.
The children have enjoyed working on their map drawing skills by creating a map of their local area! They have been architects by designing their dream houses which they are looking forward to constructing next week.
Many areas of the children’s learning is being enhanced through the provisions; in English the children are using the writing rainbow FANTASTICS and their phonic knowledge to write about animals in the rainforest.
Year 1 have are really enjoying being geographers, scientists and architects!
